Hilux 2006 rear brake linings size
I enquired at a Midas today for replacement parts, but they say not all Hiluxes take the same size. Will it help if i contact a dealer with my vin nr?

Yep, VIN should do it. Otherwise if you can spare the Lux, take the shoes in with you to Midas (you usually need a core deposit anyway) and they will be able match them up for you.
