SFA Tyre size

Post by GeorgeJvR »

Hi Guys

So I'm currently running 33/12.5/15 BFG MK1s on my SFA
with a 3.0 KZ Motor and 4.55 gearing
On the open road i'll cruise on 80km/h speedo and 100km/h on the GPS ( She can do 150 on a push )

What will be the affect if i down size to a 32/11.5/15 tyre?

My main reason is after the 50mm body lift and front axcel move the tyres are still catching the body as well as the pitman arm on the steering boks.
If i fit 30mm wheel spacers the steering boks will clear nicely but the the tyres will catch even more on the body behind the front tyre.

George, currently I am running 32"s

Speedometer 100kph and GPS 98kph
Odometer 100Km traveled GPS distance 104Km.
Stock diff ratio
Max top speed 150kph and then the speed limiter cuts in.

I would love to go to 35"s but first got to measure if they will fit, I have a cruiser with 35"s on and will do a check on the weekend with the spare wheel to see if it will rub or not
