So, apart from an alternator that gave up some years ago, no other issues till yesterday.
Speedometer stopped working. From my readings it seems to be a unit sitting on transfer case. Anybody with some pearls of wisdom?

James it is a electronic sender unit on the box that sends the reading as far as i know. Not a very common failure. I would be inclined to remove and clean it and test again as i suspect it is a poor connection on the sender unit that caused the speedo stop working
