Hi All
I have an old 86 single cab raider. The load bin is starting to get a bit rusty underneath the old bakkie back liner.
Is there any recommendation on how to get this stuff off. I tried wire wheel and flapdisk on the angle grinder - not working great.
Thinking sandblasting might be better. Any ideas of costs or recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Re: Loadbin Sand blasting
I have read on one of the Toyota Face book pages that dry ice helps to remove the old rubbing linings, maybe google this and see.

Re: Loadbin Sand blasting
Otherwise a blow lamp and scraper and after that maybe xylene or even laquer thinners to remove the rest. Either way it's going to be a schlep. Sandblasting won't work. Maybe ask the guys that do rubberising, they must have come across this problem before and have an easier method of removal.
