camshaft oil seal
a few weeks ago i replaced the camshaft oil seal on my 2L engine when i was doing a cylinder head overhaul, after that it started to leak oil from that seal, got another seal and pushed it all the way, it still leaked, decided to get a genuine seal and fit it but still leaking, is there any tips, tricks or possible causes etc ? thanks!!

Re: camshaft oil seal
Oil seals leak because the seal interface isn't mating correctly with the surface. This is either due to misalignment or due to particles/grit preventing the surfaces from mating correctly. If it wasn't leaking before, it's most likely that the seal is misaligned. You might need a special tool to get it in place properly.
Happy trails
