Vigo v6 engine light
Need some help please.Battery light didnt want to.go off.Had alternator tested and regulator changed.After fitting again .now engine light stays on .

I would start off by re-setting the ECU again.
Remove the neg terminal and leave for 10 min or so.
Remove pos terminal and short to Gnd...(results in complete discharge)
Re-connect pos.
Re-connect neg. (In that order)
If the light is still there u need to pull the fault codes.
You might also have a loose or dirty connection caused by the fitment of the new alternator.

Thanks ,did remove the both pos and neg,left till the afternoon put back light off.
Took it in to test for fault codes did not find any .
been testing and driving for few days no light came on again
