Vigo and older Diff interchangeability

Hi folks
I have some questions for the experts.
Can a rear diff centre portion, from a 2005-2016 Vigo 3.0L D4D or 4.0L V6 Hilux or Fortuner, be retrofitted to an older pre-2005 “import” Hilux (IFS or SFA) or HiAce diff housing?
What is the length, wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface (WMS-WMS), of a Vigo-shape Hilux?
Note, not the rear track length.
