2000 IFS - Interpreting OBD2 Results

Post by blackmo92 »

Hi All,

I recently purchased a $4 ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth dongle with absolutely not expectation that it would communicate with my Australian 3RZ-FE.

To my surprise it works completely fine paired with the Android Torque Pro app $5

I searched for errors and there was none (which I expected) however this thing generates a heap of data in real-time:

Revs - obvious
Speed - obvious
Coolant - 78 degrees C
Throttle - 11.4
Vacuum 23.8

I think it also generates MAF, O2, Timing and other data.

My question is, what is considered "normal" what exactly should I be looking for (other than error codes)

Appreciate any suggestions
