Looking for a good Hilux mechanic in Limpopo

Post by rollacorolla »

Hi guys,

I live between Polokwane and Tzaneen and am looking for a good, reliable, honest, thorough Hilux mechanic in the area. So far I have been told to go see the dealer in Duiwelskloof but I prefer to avoid dealers if I can.

I can normally do the standard filter and oil change, but I'm getting close to 200,000km in my 2009 D4D 3.0 4x4 so I really want a thorough going over of everything including changing the timing belt, checking out a brake issue, changing all oils and fluids, full lube, etc.

There are so many Hiluxes and Fortuners around here, there must be a Hilux expert around here somewhere :beg: !

Cheers.

I don’t know if they do general services and the like, but I would recommend you check with Ronald Harebottle at 4x4 Traction in Polokwane. If he can’t help you himself he should be able to recommend someone who can. Contact details on their website - 4x4traction.co.za
