EK HET N TOYOTA HILUX 3.0 D4D 4X4 2010.
DIE BAKKIE HET ALTYD OP 160KMH WARM GEWORD DAN SIT DIE AIRCON AF.
MAAR OP SO 158KMH LOOP ALLES REG.
SO TYD TERUG HET DIT OP 140KMH BEGIN WARM WORD EN HET EK DIE FAN CLUTCH VERVANG.
WAT SAL U VOORSTEL KAN DIT NOG WEES.

Over fuelling, radiator no longer efficient (choked or cooling fins corroded) , water pump not working optimally or perhaps poor airflow over the radiator - also be sure that there is a radiator cowl and that it's good.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Ek sou kyk na die radiator.

Met tyd verstop die finne maar. Ek het myne so 'n ruk terug afgehaal toe ek die waterpomp gedoen het en ek was verbaas hoeveel fyn gemors in die radiator finne gesit het. Veral direk agter die fan. Dit het amper soos "muis wolle" gelyk. Ek het dit uitgespuit met 'n high pressure washer op 'n lae verstelling - van agter na voor deur die radiator. Wees baie versigtig dat jy dit nie met 'n te sterk straal water spuit nie want dan kan jy die finne lelik opvoeter en toe spuit.

Verloor die bakkie enige water? Is die termostaat al vervang? Met tyd raak die bi-metaal veer oud en dan maak die termostaat nie heeltemal oop nie.

Ek sou die hele verkoeler stelsel 'n goeie diens gee en die coolant ook vervang.
