Recently saw a smashed 2001 Prado 3.4l at a scrap yard, i noticed it is fitted with a e -locker axle
Now i was wonder if that would fit my wagon ,1996 model no rear diff-locker.
are the axles the same

Re: Prado 90 series rear axle
Martin,
It will fit. Axles are the same. However you will need to strip out the diff lock switch also and the wiring and the control unit on the 4wd will be different as the diff lock overrides the abs function in low range. So if you can get it and all those parts then swop it. Should be almost plug and play and a weekend job.

Martin is it not mine that you saw in the yard? Mine was taken to a yard in your area.
