Hilux p0335 crank sensor problem

Post by jdreyer77 »

I need some help please.

I had a dieseltorque chip for 2 years in n Hilux d4d with no problem. Bakkie was serviced recently 230 000km and about 2 week later the engine went to limp mode whilst driving. Switched off and on and continued driving. The problem then came back every 3rd or 4th day. Decided to remove the chip and do software rather. Whilst driving without the chip the problem was worse. Upgraded the software and even worse. The bakkie is no dying when idling. We used a diagnostics machine and the error P0335 crank sensor circuit at.

I have replaced the following (swopping parts between 2 identical bakkies)

Crank sensor
Fuel sensor
Starter
New timing belt and tensioner
Check crank sensor for lose wires
Battery
Checked regulator ring

The promblem is still there. The problem is now so bad that the motor is not going to limp mode but engine stalls and you have to completely switch off, removr key and start again. The problem also occurs at any rpm, from idling to 3000 rpm.

Any ideas?

Crank sensor
Cam sensor
MAF sensor skoon gemaak
Nuwe Cam belt en tensioner
Fuel pump geruil
Nuwe diesel filter
