hey guys
just booked my surf in to have a new front left cv and to have the brake master cylinder re sleaved or a whole new one which ill do myself, because at the moment the brakes are ok if u suddenly brake but if you need them on for a while you loose all pressure and yeah nothing happens. this happened write after i flushed the brakes which removed all the dirt and grime that was keeping it sealed up. its about $300 aus to have the cv done and about $235 aus for a whole new master cylinder to suit.

Why don't you just put all the dirt back? Will save you a lot of money.

Remember this: If it aint broke, don't fix it!

Now see what you have done. Dirt is there for a reason.

yeah i know eyy
well it does stop quicker if i brake suddenly
i just cant brake for about 20 seconds after :)
so its grounded till it all gets fixed

im still considering doing it myself though
whats are the brake masters like replacing?
and the cv doesnt look to bad to do.

wow it prooves to shop around,
i phoned around and $210 cv became a $170 cv
and a $230 master brake cylinder became a $175 master brake cylinder
and now i have a mate who said he can do it all and he will do it all for free, so thats a nice lil saving.
