When braking...klakking sound occurs...
Guys;
I do not know if this is serious. Did not have time to look yet. When I step on the brakes , there is a klakking snound comming from the front right somewhere. It only sounds once..klak and then stops even if brake pedal is still pressed. As soon as I release the pedal and step on it again it klaks again once then stop. Any ideas ???

Sounds like the brake pads are hitting against the caliper when you brake. This means they are moving slightly when the force is applied to the disc and they are moving in the direction of the disc. Check you have the correct pads, and check all holding pins and bolts. Make sure you caliper is tight.

Also check your wheel bearings. A loose bearing will make the disc wobble(with the loose wheel) and slowly push the pad back and then it needs to take up that slack when you hit the brakes. It will also make your brake pedal feel spongy.

Check the anti-rattle spring wires, maybe your vehicle does not have any or they are broken.
Do you feel any vibration on the steering wheel at the same time?

Also had a "clack-clack" sound on braking. Got a set of anti rattle clips from Toyota at R81 and voila, sound magically disappeared!

No vibration on steering. Klakking stopped by itself now. Will strip anyway to see if I see something funny.

Maybe after you had the rain, the water could have washed out any brake pad dust and this was causing the noise that you heard.
