Rust prevention

Post by Tonto »

As far as I can determine, Rooi Oog is relatively free of rust. How do I keep him that way?
i.e. What (Tectyl) can be sprayed inside the doors, pillars cab etc.
Is there any professional company out there doing this?

Guys I know swear by old diesel engine oil mixed with tecyl.

All of this is good, but if you dont ensure the holes in the doors and lower valances stay clen and dry nothing is going to stop the dreaded rust. Oh don't forget to every now and then remove the front windscreen rain cover and clean that out as the sand and leaves build up there aswell.

Wax Oyl also does rust proffing for you.

Om in die deure in te kom is maklik, maar hoe maak mens met die bokant van die kajuit, waar die meeste Luxe roes. Weet iemand van `n maatskappy wat die hele ding doen?
