How to replace the cathode lamp in your 12Volt Lightstick

Most of us have at some stage (or still do have) the "campquip"type cold cathode light stick with the hook on the one end and the wires on the other, that work of 12 volt.

Mine went up in smoke recently, so I converted it to 12 Volt LED, with the help of LEDS sold by Pieter on this forum.

Not only will I be able to use it longer without major battery drain, but it is also brighter!

The nice thing is that the PVC forms the base, but the existing resin coating on the LED strip, keeps it in place between the PVC and the outer lens of the light Stick, so it can't fall apart!
