Modding a Weber carb to climb hills

Post by Sifu-Lux »

Found this interesting mod to stop a Weber stalling on hill climbs.

Easy to do

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.ph ... #msg588356

I have never had a problem yet though with my 38DGAS on steep hills.

Maybe this helps somebody :)

Of all the Webers I fitted to all the luxes I built, none had issues climbing hills.

dude the mod is not for when you drive the hill to the checkers parking!!!
the mod works like a bomb and we use to do it even to the aisin carbs on the 4y not to run dry but mostly not to "spill" (flud)at extreme ups and or downs
