Ek het nou al baie gelees dat jy nie 'n voertuig 'recover' aan sy bullbar of sleephak nie, maar met sy 'recovery points', want die is direk aan die onderstel ge koppel.

:think: Nou die vraag :think:

die touhak is veronderstel om daardie woonwa op steroids saam in die bos tevat en terug tebring huis toe, :think: hoekom dan te swak vir 'recovery' :?:

die winch word op die bullbar gemonteer en die baar moet sterk genoeg wees om dit paarton agterhom uit die modder tesleep, :think: hoekom dan te swak vir 'recovery nie' :?:

en as ek na party van die voor bampers kyk wat die manne maak word die 'recovery point' op die bumper gesit, :think: is dit dan nie ook teswak nie :?:

Dit gaan oor momentum. As jy die trailer sleep, bly hy gekoppel aan die voertuig en is daar geen speling nie en geen G-forces nie. As jy iemand recover, is daar baie meer g-forces betrokke. m2cw

Cassie het `n punt beet daarso!!! Ek het wel gesien dat sekere bullbars soos die ARB en van die plaaslike bullbars se mountings so ontwerp is om wel die recovery te kan hanteer, maar dit is net op sekere voertuie van toepassing.

Meeste tubular bullbars en towbars sal nie die kinetiese forses kan hanteer nie en dan kan dit groot moeilikheid veroorsaak as dit loskom en of wel dan buig. :shock:

Buig is nog orrait Johan, dis die loskom, afbreek, ens wat lewensgevaarlik is. Onthou die afgebreekte item (bullbar,towbar, tow-hitch) travel teen enorme spoed weens die hoeveelheid kinetiese energie wat betrokke is, en enigiemand wat in daai ding se pad kom gaan baie seerkry... :shock: :shock: :shock:

Dis korrek Piet, Die Randlovers is mos almal `n klomp swaar voertuie, so as jy `n gobble-dee-gook kan uitsleep sonder om te sukkel of jou recovery punte te beskadig, dan is hulle sterk genoeg....... :thumbup: :twisted:

I bought last week at 4x4 Megaworld in 4Ways and paid R85 for a recovery hook and R85 each for 4 & 3/4 ton bow shackles
1988 Hilex D/C 4x4 (Import spec), Lexus V8; Marlin Crawler; Custom Suspension: front and new 4 link in the rear; Disc Brake conversion rear; 35" Cooper STT tyres; Xenon lights; Custom bullbar;Next? Aircon; new front seats, redo the whole interior in nice soft leather, Respray, Double Lockers

Ek is nog nie so dat ek kan sê ek gaan nie vassit met my toy nie ek leer nog.

Het die naweek in 'n tydskrif die nuwe Reno 4x4 gesien en al kan hy nie uitklim waar ek al met my toy gery het nie gaan hy darm deur slote waar sy wiel soos 'n reun met sy agterpoot in die lig staan wat ek weet my toy nie kan doen nie. My toy het nie die lokkers in nie.
