Follow our 70-day trip to the Serengeti and back!

Post by Villiers »

After months and months of planning, good friend JI de Wet and I are finally heading off on an epic 70-day adventure to the Serengeti! We will be driving with my 2004 Toyota Hilux 2.7 petrol 4x4 double cab and estimate that the total distance will be around 15000 km. In order to share our adventure with our friends, family and other adventure-lovers, we've designed a website called http://www.serengetitrip.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - we plan to post a diary entry and some stunning photos every single evening with the help of a Sat4Rent satellite device.

Please follow our trip at http://www.serengetitrip.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and spread the word far and wide to all your nature- and adventure-loving friends and other Hilux-owners.

Kind regards and safe travels.

"Epic" is right! This is one of those 'once in a lifetime experiences' for a handful of fortunate enough souls! Enjoy, and Godspeed!  Will also be following this one! ;-)

Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
