Thaba Phatsoa Lesotho
the past weekend i decided to take my brother and my mother To and Fro trip to Lesotho, 800 kms were completed in the day.
Departed Vaal @ 06h00 for Ficksburg Bridge in my newly acquired HILUX, due to some stupid stop & go's with avarege waiting time astimated @ 20min , between Heilbron & Peter Steyn we got there just after 10h00.
after all the necessesities were taken care off @ customs we headed to Thaba Phatsoa, approximatly 20-30kms off Hlotse town, from where we brached off the tar road we drove on gravel road for about 2hrs.
being my 1st time driving an offroad vehicle on such a terrain, WELL i prayed to God to be on my side, the road proved to be a bag of curve balls, bid of mud was around as well as river crossing BUT man oh man rock climbing was the order of the day.
i was pretty much exited after passing Thaba Phatsoa Outward Bound http://www.seelesotho.com/Tourist-info/ ... lking.html as i could see the detoriated road ahead of me which resembled some of the off road trails. well finally i got to climb lots of rocks/mountains with the help of Difflock, the LUX just kept kicking the butt.
i'm pretty much exited about the capabilities of the 4x2, all i can say if the 4x2 is such a mean machine,i wonder who the 4x4 is?, i will surely love to go back for a camp with the guys for the weeked @ the Outward bound, looks pretty much fun for far.

Very scenic! .... where are the 'rock climbing pics'
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
