Budget- daaroor praat ons liewer nie te baie nie... :sick: :oops:

Akkomodasie: Dit was regtig nie duur nie- gemiddeld tussen US$5 to US$10, maw tussen R40 en R80 per persoon per nag vir kampering.

Mana Poele het ons vooraf moes bespreek en betaal, en ek kan nie onthou hoeveel nie.

Die Nasionale Parke in Tanzanie is donners duur (en onthou, jy betaal letterlik per 24uur): :shock2:

Serengeti: Ingangsfooie: $50 pp per dag, kinders onder 16 halfprys.
$40 per voertuig per dag
Kamp: $30 pppn, kinders onder 16 $10

Ngorongoro: $50 pp per dag, kinders onder 16 halfprys.
$40 per voertuig per dag
Kamp: $30 pppn, kinders onder 16 $10
PLUS: $200 per groep (party) “Crater Service Fee” om in die krater te kan afgaan.

Lake Manyare was bietjie (net bietjie) goedkoper: $35 pp per dag, kinders onder 16 $10
$40 per voertuig per dag
Kamp: $30 pppn, kinders onder 16 $5.


Petrolgeld: Ons het gesleep, op die grondpaaie permanent in 4x4, en dan het ek maar hier by die 5,5 km/l gekry. Jy kan self uitwerk- 9 500 km. Petrol wissel van omtrent US$1,40 in Zim tot R16,50 'n liter in Tete! Diesel was goedkoper (ek dink)

Kos het ons van hier af saamgevat- hier en daar vleis gekoop, was duurder, maar nie mal nie.

Dankie vir die detail verslag. Jy weet nie hoe ver my spyt uihang oor ons dit nie saam kon maak nie. Sal maar Jannie vir kuier moet kry om die lus verder te streel.

Hennie & co. Thank you so much for sharing with us what was obviously the experience of a lifetime. I can relate to that feeling of despondency that comes at the end of a memorable trip. BUT if it's any consolation, it will spur you on to planning the next trip. And, yes, hopefully you will once again relive the feeling of unbridled joy that travelling in Africa brings.

Hennie, Baie dankie vir die wonderlike verslag wat jy met so veel moeite vir ons bymekaar gesit het.
Dit was 'n wonderlike ervaaring om saam met julle die lang pad NOORDE toe, te deel.
Ek het die ervaaring baie waardeer en glo dat dit besonders was vir almal wat die verslag gelees het.
Ek het die eerste gedeelte gelees voor ons Mana Pools/Chitaki Springs toe was, en het nou net die tweede helfde ondek.
Dit sal seker met jul bly vir die res van jul lewens...

Yeah... I have seen it on tv before... but this report... WOW!!! Thank you so much for making us feel like we were part of the adventure. Read entire report from start to finish, slowly n sure not to miss anything. You have captured something that even nat geo on tv cannot.
