Some of the W/C club members did the Matroosberg 4x4 route on Saturday and boy was it slippery and wet of the rain and snow but well worth it :thumbup:

Looks great. How long does the route take up? Do you need any special equipment? Planning on doing it next snow fall but haven't driven in snow before.

Get there early, very, very early. There is a one way system on the road (1300 turn around time if I recall correctly) and generally after a few vehicles have been up it starts to get much more challenging and people then spin their way up the obstacles, making it worse. Also there are lots of people without a clue going up that can make taking the tougher sections more interesting
