I was lucky enough with the long weekend to get back into Lesotho and do Sani Pass. My Fiancé and i traveled down to Himeville on Saturday morning and with the help of the GPS decided to take a more scenic route than the highway. This in its self turned out to be rather interesting as the GPS did not seem to know where farm gates were! With the help of a farmer’s son on a four wheeler, we managed to get back to a “main” road and continue our trip. On Sunday morning we went up Sani Pass, heading for the snow covered mountains (pics below). We then continued through some beautiful snow covered mountains (A1) through to Fouriesburg. From the top of Sani to Fouriesburg took approximately 5 hours.
Then this morning (Monday) we went through Clarence and back to JHB, a quick but enjoyable trip!
