Sal laat weet sodra ek iets verder hoor.

This is the sms I recieved from Andre this afternoon:

"Hi ouens, nou by Flamingo lodge near Tombua weer is lekker but the dirt road from Ruacana was a nightmare with all the massive rains. It took us 8 hours to do 250km.

We are 6 vehicles now of which of 4 are Hilux's!

Regards Andre"

As iemand weet of daar verby gaan vertel en of neem bietjie fotos asb.

Hi Guys, recieved this sms from Andre today

" Hi Ouens, darem terug nou in Windhoek. It took us 17 hours to do 360km from the kunene mouth to Ruacana, very bad roads a result of heavy rains. Die 'doodsakker' was as always a thriller. Regards to all!'

My reply: 'Thanks Andre, hope to hear from you guys soon! Any incidents?'

'Behalwe vir punctures, die gesukkel by die Angola grens (took 4 hours to clear) and you now need to report to every police station of every town you pass.
FlamingoLodge was pleasant.
Leba Pass again is something to drive down with a Lux.'

'For interest, the plan for next year is the Kunene River from Ruacana to the mouth (East) and via the desert back to Ruacana'

Reply: 'Sounds good, chat to you when you get back! Drive safe!!! Regards from Hilux4x4 Club!'
