I bought one for my swing arm directly from IEF engineering in JHB. Ordered it over the web, http://www.iefeng@iafrica.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, Lizelle Naude is my contact. Front runner also by from ief and far as I know also 4x4 Mega World. Not the bearing kit but the whole swing arm with the bearing kit.

Thanks Mark - will pop in to see them, i saw that post before but the last entry was that the deal went "south", saw the Burquip label - wasn't sure if it was the same unit that IEF use, couldn't find it on their website.OOOOMS wrote:Stan, try Burquip East Rand:

Thanks Jacques, didn't think that they would sell the bearing only, will try them after Burquip.jacques kotze wrote:I bought one for my swing arm directly from IEF engineering in JHB. Did you ever build your bike rack?
I'd love to know if someone has built a similar rack. I have the Outback bumper with one spare wheel carrier, and am planning to put a bike rack on a second swingarm. If you know of any examples please share.

Hi
Correct me if i am wrong, but I have heard that they use a VW Golf's front hub, for spare wheel swing-arm? I would think it can stand up to the stresses of what you looking to do? And it's cheaper too.
