Debug snorkel
Debug snorkel
I have found when checking the 'air box' there are a number of unwanted gogga's and moths lying inside the water trap at the bottom of the air box inside the water-trap.
So, to reduce this problem, I cut up an old air filter (mesh around the filter of he Vigo) and made it fit. Took all but 15 minutes to complete.
All you need are some pliers and a simple wire cutter

Willem... al die snorkels se koppe is veronderstel om vorentoe te wys. Party mense draai dit om want hulle glo hulle kry dan minder stof etc wat by die kop in gaan.

Normaalweg moet die opening na voor wys, dit help met lugvloei (lug word 'forseer' in die pyp in tydens die voertuig se beweging)
Wanneer dit egter hard reen of, wanneer jy bv. agter 'n ander voertuig ry op 'n grondpad (m.a.w. hoe stof konsentrasie), is dit beter om die kop om te draai na agter sodat daar nog skoon, koel lug kan ingesuig word...en glo my daai diesel suig hard!!!

As jy daai kop altyd na agter toe laat kyk en jy sit n high speed blow fan in die skag wat lug inblaas gaan dit nie ook help nie dan het jy jou eie air booster of hoe

Wel ek het weer gehoor, baie ouens se as jy die snorkel "intake" agtertoe draai help dit met jou petrol verbruik,
ouens het gekla dat die "ram" effek hulle voertuie swaarder maak opi sous aangesien dit die Airintake sensor deurmekaar maak,
of dit so is weet ek nie, my bakkie was nog altyd swaar op brandstof voor en na die snorkel, so worries me not,

Daar is iets wat my pla, ek het op n stadium erens gehoor dat mense se of altans dink dat n snorkel nie water dig is ni. Is hulle en hoe seker is jy?

As julle kyk na racing snorkels sal julle sien hulle het so lang plat intake wat agtertoe wys.
Ek hou steeds van daai ou Cyclone tipe heads op 'n snorkel en intake.

Ek het 'n Sy-Klone precleaner op my snorkel. Hy haal 96% van die stof uit asook water. Jy verander omtrent nooit weer jou lugfilter nie agv die precleaner wat alles uithaal. Werk soos 'n bom! Kyk na die website:
