Pool timers have a live feed for the motor or digital clock and a neutral return (220V circuit). Then they have a live in and a switched live out (basically running through a contactor), this can be used for switching 220V or 12V, makes no difference but the contactor is rated .... normally about 16A which is more than adequate for some lighting. Only problem with timers is that they have to be reset after every power failure.

If you cannot get a 12V daylight switch you could get a 220V one and connect it to a small contactor (same as a relay) through which you can run your 12V feed. Another benefit of doing it this way is that you can run other 220v circuits off the daylight switch for any other application that you may want to (as long as you don't exceed the rating of the switch).

;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Wayne

Jy kan ook na 'n besproeings timer kyk. Jy kan dan relays gebruik om die ligte aan/af te sit.
