SFA TLC

Post by mcw »

Decided that the bakkjie needed some work done

First went off to Mikem for a complete new suspension, and after a slight hiccup expertly sorted by Darrel
suspension works very well and comfort level are better :celebrate:

Hi Maartin,

Jou suspensie lyk baie mooi.Ek het ook Mikems op my bakkie en is baie gelukkig daarmee.

Het Darrel gekyk of jou voorste as se saddles gelyk is?OP die tweede foto as ek na die vere kyk lyk dit asof die saddle nie gelyk is nie.Ek mag verkeerd wees.

I did this July last year full Mikem suspension, shackles, bushes, springs(comfort pack) ,and Gabriel Safari shocks Approx R12000.00

I i had chosen repairable Bilstein i would have been extra 4500.00 i think .Did not see the need as bakkie is used for trips only

Martin, the damage to the fuse appears to have been caused by a loose-fitting fuse or loose wire or contact. I think you would be wise to replace the fuse holder as well, otherwise it's going to happen again.

If you pass this was again, we have those holders in stock, otherwise you should be able to get at any auto-electrical shop as well, perhaps even Midas. Just ensure that the fuse is a tight fit and that no water can enter it.

Dit is een van die mooiste bumpers wat ek nog vir n sfa gesien het.Hoe gaan jy jou winch monteer en waar gaan jou fairlead pas? Baie mooi werk jy kan regtig trots wees

Sorry Martin, but with that red glow in the "X" I thought you had made a very nice braai tray...

Looks very nice and waiting to see it mounted on the 'Lux!

So Martin popped by at the office this morning, and I had the pleasure of seeing the bumper "in the flesh". It even looks better than the photos show. very, very nice indeed!

I was so keen to see it that I forgot to offer him coffee.... Sorry bud.
