Well done!

Daai Groot Man is pretty intimiderend gewees.

Good morning Hilux forum members,

The inaugural Hilux & Fortuner Trophy was held this past weekend at Moegatle in conjunction with the yearly EFS 4x4 competition. The respective winners has been crowned, with some descent rewards in terms of prizes totalling to more than R25 000. The course was tough with precision driving needed to succeed.
I truly believe that the bar was set high in terms of the course, marshalling and overall organisation.
One Hilux forum member was present, however competed in the EFS open division in his Jeep with his "junior" co-driver.
I will post relevant pictures as soon as I get it from the photographers.
Articles will appear in some of the major magazines in time to come, and I will keep you posted on this.

Regards,
Riaan

hi riaan
nice to finally put name to face .
i think the hilux's and fortuners that participated were a little shocked at the course you and kallie laid out for them .
i overheard a couple of the competitors on saterday night after the days obstacle course and it was entertaining to say the least.
i sure most of them never knew what they or their respective vehicles were actually capable of . :surrender:

Its a great pity that the entries werent more .

well at least the hilux club had 1 member there to represent  , even if it was in a JEEP
the "junior " co driver once again showed that anything is possible

hopefully next year will be much bigger and better.

Hi Jeepie,

Same here..
Well you can't expect to win a "Trophy" and not work for it!
Thank you for attending again..even if it was in your Jeep..again!
Hopefully when junior gets his first 4x4, it's a Hilux!

2015 WILL be bigger, better and Hilux Tough!
