Now THAT looks like a fun trail. None of this 'sissy route' escape stuff.

What happened to the 'bull nose'?

We'll just have to wait for Simon to explain. I know he has an intermittent problem with his internet connection, just have to speculate in the meantime.

My guess is that since the scenario is obviously the embankment exiting the water crossing, that had something to do with it. The bull-nose has a snorkel whilst some of the others that crossed don't have, so the depth of water is not so bad that it would have drowned the motor. I think perhaps the dizzy or electronics got a bit of water in and it stalled.

Hello Guys, sometimes I battle to log onto this web site, for some unknow reason it asks me for the pass word, anyway here I am on again.

The Bull nose are you refering to the white Hilux, have not ehard that name before, he just did not have sufficient traction to get out of this water crossing, not sufficient traction with the front suspension and thus we connected him up with a tree protector strap around a tree and he hauled himself out of the mess, however when he crossed back over the next day, it seems that he broke one of his cv joints in the process.

Anyway yes we had fun, a real nice group of people from The Amatola 4x4 Club from East London.

Ask your questions, yes you can join us or let me know if you are passing through Queenstown o82 499 1924

cheers
