So? .... was a decision reached?
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: 4x4 community vs Hilux forum challenge (With pics)
So, as I understand it then .... the de-bead / re-inflating of tyres and tug-o-war are just for the fun and that's where the Hilux team fell down. Where it really counts is driving skills and we all know that a vehicle with lockers / bigger tyres etc have advantages. Since these modifications are available to all the vehicles that took part, it boils down to the individuals financial means as to whether he can afford them or not. Financial prowess does not equate to driver skill and therefore any fair result would have to employ the handicap system. Therefore the results that really count are:
Well done Hilux team!4x4community span average met handicap
-158
Hilux average met handicap
-138 [wenner]

Re: 4x4 community vs Hilux forum challenge (With pics)

I would have drilled and bolted it as well ... just to be sure.
