Hi all,

So its that time of the year again when we get together for one last time before we all go on our well earned Christmas holiday.

On Saturday the 26th November we will be meeting at Hennops 4x4 off-road trail near Harties. After the off-roading we will have a braai at the Hennops Picnic spot just down the road. There are lekker braai facilities and a swimming pool to cool off.

Lets meet at 8am so that we can hit the trail by 08h30

Cost: R220 per vehicle and this includes entrance to the Hennops Picnic area.

Just a side note:
We are looking at the over night option for the Guys & Gals that want too. As soon as I have costing,I'll post them.

We have contacted the venue. Unfortunately there is no overnight camping available

So it seems that there are quiet a few guys that want to camp over at our year end get together.
Hennops 4x4 trail does not offer overnight camping however we do have another option.

Camping at R250.00 per stand per night (I'm bust negotiating for a better rate)
Trail at R250.00 per vehicle
We have been offered plenty of firewood and the possibility of a game drive on the Sunday.

Greg, I've chatted to a few of the members and all seem fine with it, hence I've edited next to their names.

Just an important notice:
Their will be braai packs for payed up club members for the braai on Saturday, we will also have small gifts for the kids which will be delivered via a ............ by .............. on Saturday afternoon(not letting all the secrets out ), so please list next to your name how many kids will be attending.

A discounted rate for the trail has been agreed to so it will be R200 per vehicle for the trail nad those wanting to stay overnight camping it will be R250 per night.

Hi Rigardt,

The cost for the trail is R200 per vehicle.

As far as the participation of non club members are concerned, this would not be a problem if it wasn't a club sponsored event. As Neil mentioned the club will be contributing towards braai packs and handouts for the kids so I dont think it would be fair for non members to benefit from this. That's my two cents worth. Im sure there are others out there that would like to comment.

I agree with you on this one, but as far as I can see there is only 1 non club member coming with this GTG and this non club member does not have any small kids, as far as I know it will only be him by himself, that's why asked Ike to come and enjoy the day with us.

Hi Rigardt,
It seems that there are other non members that would like to join us for the day and do not expect any handouts.
It just get a bit complicated when there are kids involved because they may feel out when we do the Father Christmas thing.
Please ask the Landy guys to bring their vehicle and have some fun with us. Who knows, we might be able to convert them

Johan, another request, if possible we would like the braai's moved up nearer the swimming pool so that we can keep an eye on the kids while we enjoy the afternoon after the trail.
