Rebel 4x4 Rock Crawl 5 September 2009, Moegatle

Rebel Rock Crawl 2009 – who said ‘crawling’ couldn’t be extreme?

When it comes to extreme off-roading, nothing comes close to the sheer exhilaration of the South African Rebel Rock Crawl event. And to add to the excitement, the Rebel 4x4 Team has decided to host this event at Moegatle – a rough-and ready course with obstacles ranging from technical tiptoeing to foot-to-the-floor action.

On Saturday, 5 September, 4x4 enthusiasts will be treated to a four-wheel spectacle where drivers will push their vehicles to the limits in three different categories. The Production Trucks will start the proceedings on the Gymkhana Speed Trail, usually accompanied by a roaring applause from the spectators. The Modified Class won’t have to wait long for their share of the dirt, and they’ll be followed by the roar of the awesome Super Trucks. Every challenge promises to have onlookers in amazement, whether it’s witnessing drivers lending each other a hand by pushing vehicles back on their wheels, cheering co-drivers on when they run after spare parts and tyres, or simply cringing when the machines start crushing boulders.

The course at Moegatle guarantees to test every driver and vehicle’s ability to the maximum. And our dedicated team of marshals will ensure that every safety measure is in place the make this day an accident-free success. The tight-knit Rebel team is proud to invite young and old, 4x4 fans or not, to come and join in the fun, because they know, it’s not what you drive, but how you drive it that matters!

So come kick up some dirt with us and bring the whole family to the next Rebel 4x4 Rock Crawl at Moegatle on 5 September 2009.
