Anual Go-Cart Team Endurance Race

Hi guys.

It's that time of the year again. My yearly go-cart team endurance race.

Last year was quite fun. Quick look at last years' team results. 1st: "Hilux 4x4". 2nd: "All Work, No Play". 3rd: "SwartSkaap". 4th: "PowerPuff Girls". 5th: "Kaas & Wyn". 6th: "KungFu Pandas".

I'm planning it for Sunday, 12 October. It's long enough notice for everyone who want to come to be able to make a plan to be there. We will effectively book the whole venue and all the cars, so we pay for the time we book the venue. The more people we are, the less each pays. The longer the race, the more we pay. Same as last year. Until we have finalized the teams and the race, we can look at around R200 per person. Last year each person had 30 minutes of drive time. That is anything from 60 to 80 laps per person depending on how quick you are. It will be at Kennilworth Carting.

If you would like to join, please let me know. If you want to enter your own team, let me know as well. Wife / kids / friends welcome to join. Those that don't drive social . . . Feel free to bring snacks and drinks. No alcohol for the drivers until after :-) There is also a shop as well as seats around the track.
