Easter Weekend - Karoo Hide-Away Bush Camp

Team Offroad and Hodge Travel is organising a Karoo Hide-Away Bush Camp on the Easter Weekend. This si a fully catered bush camp adventure in the Prince Albert region, with day trips to Gamkaskloof (Die Hel) and the Swartberg Pass.

We depart from Montagu at 09:00 on 06/04/2012 and return to Montagu on 09/04/2012 at approx. 15:00. From Montagu back to Montagu you'll be driving about 795km.

This weekend is about exploring some back roads, so most of the driving will be done on gravel roads. 4x2's and "Soft Roaders" are welcome, but unfortunately no sedan vehicles.

The cost includes camping, meals, entrance fees for Gamkaskloof and a guide. Minimum booking: 4 vehicles. Maximum: 10 vehicles.

Cost:
R1000 per vehicle + R550 per person
Children under 12: R225 per child
Children under 6: R100 per child

Yes this is going to be nice.! The guys who attended the bootcamp will be able to vouch for the quality of the catering!!

Catering was superb at Bootcamp, and it looks like a great trip.... just dread the traffic over that period... hate being on the road in peak season..

The best part of this outing is that we will be driving on back roads from Montague and back. We will be driving on private farm roads as well. The only heavy peak time traffic you'll encounter might be a flock of sheep crossing the track... :twisted: :twisted:
