Show us your tools competition

Post by pietpetoors »

I received this email from Neil Harrison from the SA4x4 Magazine.
If you've got the right tools it could win you a R2,500 gift voucher to buy more tools
Pieter, we're about to start a new competition in SA4x4 magazine and I'd like to solicit entries from members of the forum.

It's called "The Adendorff toolin' around challenge'

Essentially, it's a competition to find the guy who has the best tools in his 4x4, the tools he takes with him when he goes away on a 4x4 trip.

There are three categories:
1. Best tool kit - the most comprehensive
2. Most versatile tool kit - how little can you get away with?
3. Best packed tool kit - the neatest storage and carrying solution

What I would need from whoever enters is a photograph showing the tools spread out on the ground, a photograph showing the tools packed away in the vehicle as though you were going on a trip, a head and shoulders shot of themselves, and then a text description of what tools they're carrying. Sent to me (editor@sa4x4.co.za).

There'll be three prizes awarded at the end, one for each category, a R2 500 gift voucher to Adendorff for each of the three winners.

We're planning to run this competition over six issues, beginning with our November issue which we're currently working on.

Neil have an urgent request:
Although the competition is running over six months, they urgently need some entries by Monday.

Since there wont be lots of competitors for the first round you have a better chance of winning a price if you get your pics to him by Monday/ before Monday

Hilux Drivers can enter the most compact tool-kit category .... a Phillips / flat screwdriver combo and a pump pliers should do it. ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
