Haven't done PIC programming in a while but started learning Android recently, started writing a app for some simple calculations at work. Been saving a reasonable amount of time. What are you using your micro for?

Haven't touched a PIC16F in ages...last time was in 2003....16F627 with onboard USART. Used it to drive a RS 232 video overlay unit; displayed a 45sec "egg-timer" on a 46" Plasma screen that was reset with a normal gate remote.
Was done to help dealers on a roulette table to time their spins.

Hi,
Thx for the reply.

I have garage door alarm, keypad access for garage & gates, beam alarm for perimeter , project for athletics to measure athlete timing every 20m over 100m sprint, analog volt meter for RC, and many other small stuff that is no longer in use.

I am busy doing something to integrate with Rpi and I need to get I2c working from PIC to PIC.
and you think I can get this to work,,,,,, man,,, it takes time.

I was wondering if there was some HILUX'er that has got this working AND can show me the trick I'm missing.

Thx
