We don't have to travel to Moz ... we have them locally on the beach down the road from our home. 
.... This little guy was too late for the cover of darkness and the sand was perhaps too tightly packed because of the heavy downpour the previous afternoon ... so we moved him out of the hole to make it easy for him. .....

... It really is an ornament ..... That's why I asked what "make" it is and not what 'species" ... Besides I think our waters are a little too cold down here, although I have sometines heard reports of turtles further up along the 'Transkei' coast.

Your little China doesn't have flippers, so he won't be able to swim very well (just like Cassie)...His egg doesn't look like one I've seen before, the real eggs doesn't crack like that, they are actually soft... and, it's you, so I thought I would yank this chain for as long as I can...
