What snake is it?

Photogaphed in our garden yesterday; first thought it was spotted bush snake, but ?? - could it be a boomslang?

Locality: near Greytown KZN

looks like a Boomslang to me with those big eyes - what a beautiful snake!

Looks like an adult male boomslang ... the females have a duller green upper colour while the males have that beautiful turquoise sheen along the side where it changes between the yellow underbelly and the dark green back. (At first glance it looked a bit like a green mamba because of the close-up perspective, but the colour is also too dark, the head shape and scale pattern on the head is wrong for a mamba.) It's a boomslang. ;-)
