Creepy-crawlies, snakes & spiders
I today’s world of concern for the environment and being “Eco-friendly” it amazes me that there is still this paranoid fear of ‘creepy crawlies, snakes and spiders’.
The immediate reaction is 'KILL IT!'
Where has the conservation ethic gone?
Take a little time to find about more about the ‘creepy crawly’ you want to cull – you could be surprised at what you find out!

Yes, feel the same way. I suggest that a another section be added for this topic. It should be a database of crawlies encoutered

I think goggas are too cool - especially to take pictures of...
I took these a month or so ago - difficult because the little sods don't want to sit still :problem:

Nikon D60 with a Sigma 70-300mm zoom. The only redeeming feature of that lens is the fact that it has a Macro function between 200 and 300mm focal length

Re: Creepy-crawlies, snakes & spiders
A full moon last night ...... taken with a standard lens (18 -55 .... no macro) and without a tripod, hand held with the ISO set at 600 and aperture wide open. Probably why it's grainy. Cropping the pic at almost full resolution doesn't help either. Any tips from the pro's?
This little bugger was the only one that didn't scatter but he didn't want to stay still for too long either. What I found interesting is that he seemed to change colour when he moved to the grey shadow .... might have just been a trick of the light. Similar picture set up as used above.

Re: Creepy-crawlies, snakes & spiders
Ek post more fotos...as ek nog het.
