Very good timing on that video.

Check at 50sec - How can that impala gain height, in the air, after it's feet left the ground, when it realized it is not a tree in front of it? I've seen it with larger game jumping over fences as well! It will jump and in the air gain height! Amazeballs!

Matrix style!

I think that's just the result of the two bodies coming together ..... Impala is jumping and leopard is also jumping upwards .... the two forces in opposite directions but both upwards results in the extra height gain. The trajectory cannot change without another force being applied. ;-)

I've watched Kudu clearing a 6 ft fence from a standing jump.

Check this porcupine gaining height ..... but I suspect that the leopard will also gain some height if he tackles it full on!
