Maybe some type of fungus? But very pretty.

The red one on top is a fly catcher .... it secretes a sticky black juice with a pungent odour that attracts flies which are then trapped by the juice and slowly 'slide' down to the bottom where they rot and produce food for the plant. Not a fungus as far as I know.

The bottom one does look like some sort of fungus.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
