Stargazing 4x4 rally

Post by Mud Dog »

I received this mail and figured that posting it here might have more chance of someone being interested ......

The attached pic (as supplied) states 13 - 15 Feb, but the actual dates are 7 - 9 August 2015

We are the Sanparks Honorary Rangers : Karoo Region which is a voluntary organisation in support of Sanparks. To achieve our aim, we have to run several fund raising projects. One of these this year is a Stargazing / 4x4 rally where we got approval to take 10 4x4 vehicles into an area where the normal tourist is not allowed. It is a whole weekend in which the whole family can join. We have a well-known stargazer, Wim Falmater, who will join us for the weekend.

I attached info about the weekend and is wondering if you will circulate it between your members. May be some of them want to enjoy a great weekend in the Karoo.

Thanks a lot.

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
