I went to visit the SFA at the Spray Painters today, will have to post the photos later because I thought I had a download cable for the camera here at work - I don't. In any case, I will start that thread under "Member's Rides".
I would like to replace the torn plastic dust sheeting that is fitted to the doors between the door interior and the upholstery. I went to all the Panel Beaters here in K'dorp, no one has any. Tried various other shops, Courier Companies, no go. Where does one get thin vinyl film that is suitable for this purpose? Someone must stock it, I am possibly simply overlooking the obvious. I don't want to use a black dustbin bag, that is too thin.

I suppose you have tried your local HardWare store as I Know builders use the same thickness under rooftiles etc.

F_D, generally the local hardware will have as Suidwes said but they may also only have it in black building plastic.
Don't you have Maizeys plastics or plastic world in the dorp?
You could also try the local plant nursery, they use it for ponds etc.

Bought some black plastic at the corporation the other day. Previously i used Schoolbook covering plastic from CNA on my GTi's doors.

Can't think offhand of any plastics place here in the 'dorp. But Mica is only a block away, I can try them and also Builder's Warehouse. Thanks for the suggestions.
I would have expected the better Panel Beaters to have this available - surely it can't be expensive? But they don't seem to worry about it..."What the eye can't see..."

Hi F D
