IFS Snorkel on an SFA

Post by ThysdJ »

I know a lot of you guys have asked about right hand side snorkels for your SFA's.I have been looking for one myself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not that the Gautrain coming your way. It's easy, just fit a KZ-TE snorkel to your SFA. It fits, the angle is pretty spot-on, and it works. Proof of the pudding is in the eating. My training partner Anton Ferreira fitted one of Pieter's 2.7 IFS snorkels on his 2.4 S/C SFA.

Here are the pics.

There is a 7mm gap in the front, which Anton filled in with black silicon and finished it off smoothly, so you cant even see it. The angle of the upright fits perfectly on the A-pillar.

OH I forgot to mention. The KZTE snorkel, looks exactly the same as the 2.7, except that it fits on the right hand side of the vehicle. Which is what I will be fitting on Kaspaas, as soon as Pieter gets stock again.

Pragtag, Thys you just got it wrong way around.
KZ snorkel sits on left of vehicle and 2.7 sits on right. So the guys who want a snorkel on the right (driver side) must buy a 2.7 Hilux snorkel

The real SFA snorkels for the left will be here very soon, not much longer now
