The fourth most dangerous piece of equipment that you can have on a 4x4 is a hi-lift jack.
3rd is a snatch rope.
2nd is a winch.
1st is the idiot behind the steering wheel.

Search youtube - HiLift have a number of very good " how to " videos...well worth watching...I agree with Mike, bloody dangerous, but aslo damn usefull tools

Stay away from "farm jacks" and Chinese rip offs. Get a proper "Hi-Lift" from the USA.
With the other "jacks" the chances of loosing fingers is good.
What you pay is what you get, so rather pay a little more for the genuine Hi-Lift.

Dont get the loooong one.. it is cumbersome to pack and overkill.. Get the 1.2m one, that should do you just fine. :thumbup: :thumbup: Also invest in a Hi-Lift Lift-Mate...

i have a proper amercan hi-lift, baught it from LA Sport for R1100 about 6 months ago.
megaworld does a T-Max one which are about R750, can't comment on the quality have never used it, but as far as i know T-Max has a certain standard of quality :thumbup:
