Arrogant Radio users
So Saturday night as we head home, I picked up some gents on channel one. So, I thought they were also from the Bridgestone Challenge, and said hello with identifying myself, and wanted to know their location. The one bloke answered by asking whom else is on air, and then his friend replied with the following: "Ek weet nie, dis een of ander P&%phol wat praat". Then I replied by saying: "Nee, dis nie 'n p%#phol nie dis HC115 van die Hilux Club en wil net hoor waar julle is, en julle moet veilig ry". A few seconds silence then one came back by saying: "O hallo daar. Ons is van die Landrover Club en oppad terug van training". I then again greeted nicely and wished them a safe journey.

I tried to get it out of them when stating mine, but suppose they knew not to give theirs due to the arrogant comment.Thunder02 wrote:Robbie, you should of got there call signs, that way they can be booted off the ORRA channels, hate it when people use foul language on open channels.

Re: Arrogant Radio users
Consider the possibility that they realised they were in contravention of radio operating regulations and threw the "Landrover Club" name out there as a red herring.
