Doesn't look too bad except maybe for what looks like hail damage on the bonnet. At least you don't have much of a rust problem by the look of it. Good luck with the project!

the vehicle has been inland most of its life so the rust damage is low ,there is also quite a bit of hail damage to the roof ,courtesy of living in Krugersdorp lots of hail storms

so while waiting

for bakkie to return from panelbeater,
i have being thinking about what else to to

i now have a need to tow a caravan with the old girl ,and as good as the EFI system on the 22R is ,not really made for towing,really do not want to battle up the hill

so options

1) sell and buy something with bigger motor (i think i love my bakkie to much for this option)

so this leaves fit bigger motor

1jz with 4 speed autoand spitronic ecu R18500.00
1jz gte and 4 speed auto with OEM ecu R24500.00
7m gte with 4 speed auto with OEM ecu R23750.00
3uz vvti with 5 speed auto with OEM ecu R22950.00
wl2.5 turbo diesel imports R28500 local cannot find one that has done less than 300000k (overhaul engine)

or my favorite 4gr with 6 speed tiptronic and OEM ecu R24250.00
v6 aluminium light weight power not excessive

the 4gr motor is 2.5 V6 all aluminum Lexus motori think enough torque for my van

The 1UZ vvti 5speed auto with OEM ecu R16900 will also be enough torgue for towing

Call V8 solid, i received very good service from Derrick. Had Gearbox problems on my unit and he exchanged it without hassel. He have also the 3uz vvti with 5speed auto with OEM ecu R22 000

A while ago i sent the sizes of lights to 4x4 direct do not know if they stock them
