Hey guys.
I dont get on here too much, but i posted a question in the workshop and it reminded me to share a few pics of Schwampy. Some of you know him well from this forum.
I work in Lesotho at a Children's Centre (http://www.pulanechildren.org) and Schwampy is the ideal vehicle. Although we are still awaiting rain to really let him stretch his legs in the mud, he is doing great in every situation. Heres a few pics.

Remember to check your diff oil for water contamination regularly after water crossings and that the diff breathers are clear. Better yet is to fit high level breather tubes. One also needs to check the grease in the front hub-locks as well.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Even if it's low, if it gets up to the hubs it can get in through the wheel bearing seal.
This can and does happen if the breather is blocked .... the diff warms up with normal driving and when you enter the water it is cooled, the air inside contracts - if it cannot suck replacement air in through the breather it will suck it in through the bearing seals at the wheels and pinion, along with any water present.
