Head light bulb repalcement in Fortuner

Hi Guys
Please forgive me if I have posted incorrectly .I was wondering if any member had experience with "osram h4 night breakers".I have heard that they really make a difference and would like to fit them to my 2011 Fortuner d4d 4x4 .If there could be some feedback ,it would be most appreciated .Also best place to buy .Does it invalidate the Toyota Warranty ?.If there are any members who can perhaps recommend a better product than the above .

Yes the Osram Nightbreaker's are good, now the Nightbreaker Plus are available. Here in Jhb the retail for approx. R130.00 set, and no it will not affect your warranty. You will get approx. 25 - 30% more light. Places like Midas stock them in the major towns, I think Autozone also.

You will have to check what 'type' of lamp your Tuna uses, there are two in each headlamp (x1 for dim and x1 for brights)

I have got the 2006 Fortuner. I bought a set of nightbreakers a couple of weeks age. The H4s does'nt fit. I think it uses the HB4, which I am unable to find in SA....so far. Any advice?

Correct the main lights for the Tuna are HB4 and for the brights are HB3 have not been able to locate any yet

Correct, they are available, but where is the question....I contacted Midas, Motolec and Diesel Elec. they do not have any stock or did not even have a clue what I was talking about.......

Diesel Elec said they would investigate.....yeh let's hope so :roll:
